I have a 14 foot john boat and cant get it registered?
I have a boat that I cant seem to get registered. I live in florida. this guy sold me this boat for a 100 bucks but I didn’t get a bill of sale from him, another guy sold it to him same deal. so the DMV said they couldn’t let me register it without the original holders name and permission. So they told me they could send the guy they have on their records a request, Well this has gone on 3 times and still no response from the original owner. Is there anyway I can get around this problem ?
This is what is done in Texas when this happens……….
You send the original owner a certified return receipt letter stating what is needed and you wait and one of three things will happen…
1. The return receipt will come back to you by mail meaning that person got it and does not wish to help you and you then can go through with getting it registered.
2. The letter will come back unopened and then you can do as stated above.
3. The original owner will come by and pick up his property because in the eyes of the law you do not own the boat………

Basquiat: Original Soundtrack – Music From The Miramax Film $6.94 Few film soundtracks capture the essence or personality of their subject matter as beautifully as the collection of songs culled from Basquiat. Ohm: The Early Gurus of Electronic Music, 1948-1980 $39.98 Opening with Clara Rockmore’s reworking of Tchaikovsky with the theremin, and finishing with one of Brian Eno’s ambient soundscapes, OHM artfully succeeds in its goal of giving a representative (as opposed to the impossible, comprehensive) overview of the first several decades of electronic music. Over 3 discs, 42 compositions, and 96 pages of notes and photos, OHM clearly illustrates the producer… |

White Squall [VHS] $3.00 It’s a pity this oceangoing adventure wasn’t fully appreciated during its theatrical release in 1996, if only because its climactic storm sequence (hence the movie’s title) was awesome on the big screen and inevitably less impressive on video. Mixed reviews also curtailed its box-office potential, but as you might expect from Ridley Scott–the director of Blade Runner and Thelma & Louise–this is … |
